Audio Rights for Darkroom sold!
I love audiobooks and have “read” many novels through this format. Having for years commuted on the freeways for a total of nearly an hour a day, this was one of the most enjoyable way to spend my time, while stuck in traffic. If the book was particularly compelling, I’d almost hope for a traffic jam so as to give me more time to listen with a legitimate excuse to be home late.
So imagine my delight when I learned that Publishers Marketplace announced the audio rights sale of DARKROOM (Simon & Schuster/Howard Books) to Recorded Books, LLC. It will be also be distributed through Audible around the release of the paperback and ebook edition in May 2012.

As far as I know, it hasn’t been released yet. I think it might be sometime in the Fall. I’ll let everyone know as soon as it’s available in audiobook.
